“In the hunt”characterizes Ryan Sipes determined pursuit of victory in his Supercross career. Hunting the leaders, hunting the win, hunting his place on the podium and in the heart’s of his fans. In the MDK Lites factory KTM team, Ryan has found a home with a like-minded, independent, dedicated racing team hunting the same success Ryan Sipes chases every day on the track. Speaking for the KTM Racing Team, Kurt Nicoll says “We see tremendous potential in Ryan. With his hard work, determination, a solid team behind him and a great bike, we believe he’ll be in contention for a championship.”

Ryan is certainly no stranger to hard work and determination. Ryan’s stunning rookie season, placed him on the podium in his second professional Supercross race ever and ended in an 8th overall Supercross 125cc West standing. His 2006 season was plagued by injuries and the hard work of rehabilitation, followed by tougher training to get back in race shape. Ryan attributes much of his 2006 troubles to “trying too hard”, something he’s learned to temper with finely honed technical skills and an essential confidence in his own abilities. Like most professional riders of his caliber, Ryan has learned the hard lessons that injuries offer. Yet time and again his determination to get back on the bike, train hard, ride hard, stay on the bike and keep up front, keeps him doing what he loves and doing it better every season. Ryan’s solid 19th overall Supercross standing in 2007 has him poised to continue his hunt for victory and with MDK Lites KTM Team at his side, the hunting season looks to be a very exciting one.
