The Need to Know on Nick:

“Well my goal is the same, which is just to do the best I can every week.” (Nick Wey to Racer X – 2006)

“The same goal”and doing his best every week have brought veteran Supercross rider Nick Wey back to the top ten, time and again. Nick combines single-minded devotion to his sport with the ability to keep making his best, better. Nick started his career with such strong overall seasons in the Supercross Lites Series that he quickly "pointed out" and made the move to Supercross. As one of the top Privateer riders in the Supercross Series, Nick repeatedly placed in the top ten overall standings. Having the tough road of the Privateer thrust on him, only made Nick stronger. It pushed him to learn more, work harder and innovate both with his bike and with his riding skills. Nick’s move to the MDK Supercross Team gave him the kind of support he needed to re-focus more fully on his goal, the goal of every Supercross rider, to be a champion.

The 2008 Supercross season promises to bring the combined goals of Nick Wey and the MDK/KTM Supercross Team to fruition. Nick’s dedication to his sport, even in the face of adversity has made him the go to guy on the MDK/KTM Team and as the best he can do just keeps getting better, there’ll be no falling short of the goal.

Since joining MDK, Nick has been on the podium 6 times:
